Ohio Hot Chicken Sandwiches

This is a dish that brings back some comfort food memories. I made this dish lighter. Typically I’d use a whole chicken cooked and shredded, full fat cream of chicken soup, And Ritz crackers. Today I used boneless skinless breasts, defatted homemade chicken stock, fat free cream of chicken soup, lower fat oyster crackers, diced celery and onions, and light buns.
Still had a great taste. Slow cooker, shredded chicken, mix in the soup and crushed crackers. Serve with dill pickles. Side of smashed potatoes. I remember the original, older versions would have been paired with tater tots.

I like my butt rubbed and my pork pulled.
