Thermoworks Dot troubleshooting

Options
Inserted my Dot temp probe in a ham and it’s reading about 15 degrees high. Checked the ham with my Thermopen. Took the Dot probe out of the ham and at room temp the Dot and Thermopen both read the same. Went on the website and the first thing to try is change the batteries. Did that and got the same results.

Anyone seen this issue with a Dot?
LBGE (still waitin' for my free T-Shirt), DIgiQ DX2 (In Blue, cause it's the fastest), Heavy Duty Kick Ash Basket, Mc Farland, WI. :glasses:  B)
If it wasn't for my BGE I'd have no use for my backyard...
