I've never bought BGE lump. A local store near me is selling it now for $25.99 / 20lb bag. Is this a good price?

I was always under the impression it was in the $40 range. Thank you.

It’s just repackaged Royal Oak, so still overpriced IMHOPentwater, MI

I pay $22 for a 20 lb bag of Rockwood and I've never been unhappy with it.Cincinnati, Ohio. Large BGE since 2011. Still learning.

Try the B&B lump, they have oak, hickory, and mesquite, All natural lump, good stuff, usually around $16 a 20# bag at Ace or Academy Sports. Nice large pieces of real wood ( log and pieces of log). I think the BGE brand is a rebranded Royal Oak that has a stricter quality filter instead of the standard Royal Oak.
