These "mystery" boxes from China have shown up in 30+ states. Any theories? Invasive? Poisonous?

Purdue University has unveiled a campaign to reign them in in Indiana; Preferably in their unopened packages.

Well kudzu weed came from China as well as Cr@p Myrtles. So it must be a poisonous, herbicide immune, ugly, rapidly growing, heavily pollinating , allergy inducing weed that also trolls forums and spies for commercial and military data.

They mentioned a new type of scam (didn't write down the name) on the news tonight, and they recommended everyone checking their credit card purchases; FWIW.

Botch's Evil Theory: the chinese have been watching americans on TV screaming "I won't wear a mask, freedumb, dammit!" (and, sure enough, they also said on the news DO NOT plant them, so some will intentionally do so). And they're seeds to fruit trees that, when bats eat the fruit, develop COVID-19. It's true, I just posted it on the intranetz!

The most challenging and herbicide resistant weed to get rid of around here is Palmer amaranth and water hemp. It will especially be difficult now that they have outlawed Dicamba use in beans. Anyway the seeds on those plants are tiny, and the seeds in the packets I saw on tv were pretty substantial in size. Just throwing that out there.
