Looks awesome ... so what exactly did you do with the Dr. Pepper ... marinade?Napoleon Prestige Pro 665, XL BGE, Lots of time for BBQ!

When I wrapped the ribs with the parkay honey and a little brown sugar I poured some soda in the foil in place of apple juice. Turned out awesome actually

Oh, that makes sense. I'm going to do ribs tomorrow ... I have apple juice, but no Dr. Pepper. Is it that much better that I should go out and get a can of Dr. Pepper??Napoleon Prestige Pro 665, XL BGE, Lots of time for BBQ!

My wife and kids enjoyed it more than the apple juice for sure. This is also my first rib cook with the xl bge so everything else they have had was off the pellet grill and with apple juice
-
I've never used apple juice in the wrap. How much do you add per rack, and do you just pour over the rack before seasoning, or do you just pour into the bottom of the foil wrap?Napoleon Prestige Pro 665, XL BGE, Lots of time for BBQ!

Ive never measured mine out..Honestly. When you go to wrap the ribs in foil after the Initial 2-3 hours naked cook then you add the brown sugar honey and parkay after that just pour enough apple juice or dr.pepper to cover the bottom of the foil and wrap tight

I am not really a Pepper....but I would tear into those.Ellijay GA with a Medium & MiniMax

That sounds fantastic, I’ve got to try......
My daughters drank all the apple juice the last time I had that plan. Redd’s Apple Ale worked out very nicely!
Ditto on those ribs looking great! 👍👍 -
I do them the same way, but use beer instead of apple juice (or Dr Pepper). 1 hour in the foil, then I remove foil and sauce for 1 hour. May try the Dr Pepper this weekend! Your ribs look very good.

Thank you all for the kind words. I can’t wait to make these again. Be sure and update this when you all make it too!
