I’m looking for a multi tier system that offers direct/indirect. Is the EggSpander the best on the market?

Look at CGS https://ceramicgrillstore.com/. American made by a small Co. who actually came up with the idea. Highly recommend it. IMO, best on the market.

Have both. I like both of them but find myself using the eggspander more because of its simplicity. I love CGS stuff tho and a quick peek at my account there shows over 1000 invested since setting up an account. It’s really good stuff.

I have the EggSpander, really like it. Can’t go wrong with CGS, as I have seen here many times.Dave

I really love my Eggspander. I got it before I knew about the Ceramic Grill Store stuff. From what I can tell, CGS doesn't make the Woo system for the XL which would be the equivalent to the Eggspander that includes the platesetter cradle and 2nd-tier grate, so I probably would have gotten the Eggspander anyway.South of Nashville - BGE XL - Alfresco 42" ALXE - Alfresco Versa Burner - Sunbeam Microwave

They have the woo to cradle the platesetter but they don't have the top tier part that I know ofSonVolt said:I really love my Eggspander. I got it before I knew about the Ceramic Grill Store stuff. Does the XL Woo act as a cradle for the Platesetter the same as the PSWoo for the Large? The CGS website is horribly confusing and the weird names don't help. From what I can tell there is not a "platesetter cradle" for the XL offered by CGS and you have to use a 19" round stone instead.South of Nashville - BGE XL - Alfresco 42" ALXE - Alfresco Versa Burner - Sunbeam Microwave -
I'm looking for a two grid grilling system for a xxl egg.

Just set a L on top of your grate.South of Nashville - BGE XL - Alfresco 42" ALXE - Alfresco Versa Burner - Sunbeam Microwave

@sonvolt, I believe that is correct. I use a stone on my XL woo, and my adjustable rig just sits on top of the grid in the XL. I tried once and I believe I could get my XL platesetter in there, but it was akward.SonVolt said:BigGreenKev said:

@rawightman, I use the adjustable rig in my XL on the 2XL and it works fine. It doesn't maximize the vertical space of the 2XL, but it adds another two cooking levels.rawightman said:I'm looking for a two grid grilling system for a xxl egg.

Depends on the person I'd say.
I'm in the minority here likely, but I like the Eggspander better.
