My iPhone 8plus updated the IOS last night. Now Safari won't connect to the internet either with wifi or with cellular data. Youtube , gmail, and other internet connected apps work. Any idea what is wrong?

    Wrap in foil, bump the temp and toothpick test in 30 minutes.

    Have you tried rebooting it?  Holding Power+ Volume Down until reboot occurs.  Solves most issues for me.

    Apple provides free tech support if a Software update hurts your device, which would otherwise require you to purchase AppleCare.  Good luck.

    I have rebooted it twice. All Apple Stores are closed now and the nearest is in New Orleans. Though I do have Apple Care, taking advantage of it right now is unlikely. My cell phone company is seeing people, sort of. You wait in the parking lot and someone comes out and takes your name and your problem. All parking places were full 15 minutes ago.

    I guess we will find out. I look forward to spending 3 hours on a computer operated phone tree so much. I do know that the so call solution offered by Apple.com was anything but a solution.
