Nothing really spectacular at the  meat counter today so I grabbed their best looking ribeye.  SV @122 with salt and butter for about 2hrs.  Was planning for about 1hr but phone went crazy with install issues so the steak swam for a bit.
On the mini at temp unknown because I never shut the dome.  I did blow dry and hit it hard with DP Raising the Steaks

And plated with Parmesan Asparagus cooked in the Air Fryer

This one has me puzzled.  SV 122 - Sear - final temp 128 but not the bright pink I’m used for this temp.  Tasted great, texture was good, just was off in color.

Looks good from where I'm sitting. My wife really wants to get an air fryer, but now she's looking at the air fryer lid that you can get for the InstaPot so we don't have one more appliance sitting around. It's been sitting in our Amazon cart for over a week. Maybe I should just go ahead and order it for her.

I’ve read really good reviews on the IP lid.  Do you use your IP much?  I had the same thoughts as you on the extra appliance setting around but there is times that I’ve had the IP, AF and SV all going.  My kitchen looked like Inspector Gadget just landed. Lol.

Looks great from here.  I too have had the same experience with color on occasions.  My wife likes her steaks just past medium and I often have to show her the temp with the thermapen since the color is not what she expects.

Thanks for sharing, love your cooks because they are mostly simple, every day efforts.  Now I have learned about the IP Air Fryer lid, and the stumbled on their rice cooker:

Ordered the rice cooker, Lid has been added to my wish list.

I don't use it at all. It's my wife's toy and I've never bothered to learn how to use it. She went ahead and ordered it and it arrived last night. Too late to use it, but we are going to break it in with some fried shrimp and French fries.
