Sort of, except I reversed the webbing inside my hat so I could bolt my lamp on the backside so there is no protruding bill blocking the light. With that one pictured it will be hard to look down inside an egg without cranking your neck real hard!johnmitchell said:Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -
Klein Tools LED. Adjusts up/down, 2 sets of LED’s. One is center spot, other is 2 led’s for wide angle.

After seeing what some headlamp and light options cost, throwing this out there again. Usually $50, but they go on sale a couple of times a year. Great option if you have a conveniently located power outlet

@RRP - that was a serious question Ron. I’m still looking for a light alternative to what I’ve used in the past. Like @johnmitchell asked earlier I would love to see a pic of your light source.RRP said:

To provide more light than a flashlight and to not have to run an extension cord (in my particular situation), I am looking at this light.

Thank you for the pic @RRP. How long do the batteries last?-----------------------------------------analyze adapt overcome2008 -Large BGE. 2013- Small BGE and 2015 - Mini. Henderson, Ky.

That one just takes 2 AA batteries and even just the regular type (non-alkaline) last 4 to 5 months.Mattman3969 said:Thank you for the pic @RRP. How long do the batteries last?Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -
This is the one that I got recently. It comes as a 2 pack and is rechargeable. The light tilts, so I can set it to shine right where I am looking. I've used it for at least 6 cooks so far and I think it is great. It is water resistant and charges completely in about 4 hours. It seems to run for several hours on high before it needs a charge.
