“Sell by” date on Costco Butterball Fresh Turkey

Probably a dumb question folks, but I bought a fresh butterball Turkey, in the vacuum seal, at Costco on 11/19. It has a “sell by” date of 12/2. I dropped in the bottom drawer of my spare fridge as soon as I got it home and it’s been there since. Am I good in terms of food safety? I mean it seems I would be, given that Costco is just refrigerating the same bird with a sell by date that far out- but now I’m second guessing.
