Greetings-
So I was perusing my old pictures and came across the picture that I use as my avatar on this site, which I took the day I rolled my Egg table into place and got cooking. Based on the date it is 5 days short of 6 years ago today when it was put in service. So i tried to recreate the picture, tree and car in the background included. Should I take better care of the table? probably. Have I had any issues with it? not a one. Granite under the Egg still in one piece and is at the same height as it was when I rolled it in place. Anybody else care to share their first day & present day pics?

Most recent cook - Reverse sear Porterhouse with salsa verde (house grown tomatillos in the salsa), grilled zucchini, roasted red potatoes, & sauteed green bell pepper. Served with a 2016 Goldeneye Pinot Noir.

Thanks for looking, hope to see other examples!
Cheers,
Chris

Nice, the blond hair in the first one has also been replaced by a large plant.

Many of you are obviously Where's Waldo? experts to notice those details
The first pic was after we had taken some plants inside due to an early frost warning, global warming now lets us keep them out longer so they give a nice tropical feel to the patio.Yep, missed the car going the wrong direction. Hell yes, frugal is the way to go!Thanks for looking, have a great weekend!Cheers,Chris

First, your menu looks delicious!
Second, cool to see the patina develop on your Egg table.
Third, I sure wish I had such lush green growth around my patio. But, it probably comes with mosquitoes and chiggers, so... pass.
