Wagyu Lamb

Boredom and curiosity got the best of me this evening, so I started blindly surfing the web and decided to google "Wagyu lamb".  Sure enough, something popped up.  Hopefully these guys will be successful and will ship to the states.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-06-09/wa-company-uses-excess-carrots-to-produce-wagyu-lamb/11182946

"Currently, the company is seeing marbling across all breeds due to the feed.

Tests this year confirmed marble scores of about 37 per cent, equivalent to the second-highest-graded Japanese wagyu beef.

The meat also had high levels of healthy oleic acids, a result of using pregnant ewes for weed control in the olive groves."

It's "Smokin Gal", not "Smoking Al".

I would imagine that the shipping costs to get that to the states will be quite pricey if they even consider it downstream.  But if anyone here would give it a go...  B)
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.
  • Funny you say that @NorthPilot06, the title of this thread didn't interest me; however, seeing it was posted by @smokingal drew me in, thinking I would see a fabulous cook. I look forward to seeing what she does with Wagyu Lamb!

@NorthPilot06 Lol.  I do have a food post to make sometime tonight or tomorrow.  Just thought this article was covering an interesting topic and wanted to share.

@lousubcap The shipping shouldn't be more than what it costs to send regular Australian lamb over here.

@SmokeyLopey If they succeed in breeding them, I will buy it for sure.
