XL Grate = Large Plancha / Grill Wok

I'm sure others knew this, but today I discovered the XL charcoal grate would make a great CI perforated plancha / grill wok for my Large BGE. Check it out.

My apologies.....what's the purpose of the grate? Is it used like a wok for cooking vegetables?

Yes. Veggies, shrimp, anything that may be too small for a regular grill. Plus it’s cast iron which would make for a wicked sear. Or at least that’s what I was thinking.....
