Are these the “new” XL bands?

I haven’t seen a photo of what exactly was changed on the XL hinge and band assembly.  

The photos I was able to find were for the L, not the XL.  I noticed the arm to the left of the spring is curved on the L version.

I just got this today and it definitely has some minor changes from my old one:

    Does it have the clips in the front to help stop the Dome from slipping out of the band?

    Yep.

    The changes to the xl bands were at least 4-5+ yrs ago and all the really did was powder coat the hinges.  My XL is over ten years and they're nearly identical to those.

    Some changes I noticed:
    - added retainer clips on the lid
    - where the spring attaches to the arm, it is no longer a bolted on piece, it is all one piece.
    - where the spring attaches in the back, the hole is a slot rather than a hole.
    - the part of the spring assembly that bolts onto the top ring is a slot instead of a hole.

    I believe the last update on the XL was including the safety clips.

    I heard from a local dealer the XL might be getting an air hinge like KJ soon, but there was some issue with the patent that delayed it.  Anyone know the latest?

    That is more along the lines of what I was expecting.  But, if these work, I am a happy camper again.
