I'm sure it's going to be very similar to the FB 300 but with a larger screen so it makes viewing screen info so much easier. What I really like is the variety of mounts that attach to back of the unit.

If you get a thermometer, make sure you can calibrate it. I got one for Christmas (looks like that black one in the pic). When I got it, I did the boil test and it was fine. Been having problems lately and did the boil test and it was 50F off and no way to calibrate it. What a waste. I do have a blue/yellow/red one from them that can be calibrated, however.
