Big green egg custom table question.

Found this for sale on FB market. Wants $10 to just get it out of his yard. Opinions on if this thing would work for a BGE table if I just cut a hole in it. 1 year old. Not treated wood but coated with polyurethane. I guess what I need to know is the distance between top of table and base of table. Anyone know the length needed to hold a large egg. Looks like a steal to me. Thanks for any advice.

According the BGE's official website the shelf height should be 15 inches for a large BGE resting on a table nest.

For $10 you could add a small platform and a nest and be fine.

Yeah it’s 11 inches from top of table to the top of bottom shelf. Def still worth rigging something up to try.

Looks like 8 screws and you could move the bottom shelf
