Marinated trimmed, boneless thighs in hot & spicy V 8 and some rub I concocted. They were pretty tangy .

That looks like a raised grid, have you tried indirect heat? That's how I typically do my chicken but I haven't really done a lot of direct cooks admittedly

Yes, I liked the char the direct cooks give them. I had already pulled the breast marinated in seamen ginger marinade from Kroger.LBGE, and just enough knowledge and gadgets to be dangerous .
