Really hoping to do an overnight cook this weekend but the weather is calling for rain.  Will I ruin my Egg Genius if it gets rained on?

    Maybe. Maybe not. Just stuff it in a zip bag and drape some foil over the fan.

    I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

    @Carolina Q  zip lock bag is no go, fan and controller are one integrated unit  ;)
    @jeffcox21 welcome to the forum, I would cut the slit on the side of a styrofoam cup and 'slip' it over the unit, with the cup bottom positioned where the unit meets the lower vent. Foil should work too, here's a photo someone posted ...

    I stand corrected. I thought it was like the Guru. But isn't it possible to tent it with foil? Keep rain out from above while letting air in from below?
