Baseball is my all time favorite sport to watch. Astros are my squad, went to their games all the time when we lived in Houston (cheap tickets because they were horrible). Going to a couple of games in July in they play in Anaheim.

Love baseball. I've haven't missed a season of playing baseball/softball since kindergarten.

The MN Twins have been fun to watch this year. That's my team.

Big Hurt is my all-time favorite player. My idol growing up.

The Twins played well last week. I was hoping they'd take 2 of 3 from the Yankees this weekend. Except the Twins forget how to play baseball against them. Freaking Yankees

Baseball fan for sure and for several decades. Oakland A's fan. Attended my only two WS games in '74 at the Coliseum including the clincher. Bailed on the whole deal (attendance-wise) with the strike in Sep '94-Expos with the best record in baseball and Tony Gwynn batting .394 at the time. Took around 10 years to go back and then for a friends 50th B'day celebration at Wrigley.

No clock and each team gets 27 outs to get the win-at a minimum. A's are sucking wind right now.

Edit: In a previous life I did work for Louisville Slugger (all wood bats including MLB) and met some talented ball-players.

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

I used to love baseball growing up but I gave up on it after the 94 strike.

Used to watch Murph at Fulton County back in the day. Loved the Young Guns of the early 90s. Prime Time doing double duty. Chipper was a class act. Go Bravos.

Couldn't care less about the NBA/NFL*/NHL/NCAA but love the MLB. Washington Nationals is my team (as aggravating as that can be) since they moved to D.C.

Tho not in the fanatic category we do watch a lot of baseball on tv (usually only miss a half dozen Nats games on the telly each season) and try to go to at least a couple games a year.

    * Is the NFL still even a thing? I thought everyone quit watching it a couple years ago cuz...reasons.

I love the game of baseball and in particular, the college level. Been to the greatest show on dirt in Omaha, and if a fan of the game.....recommend it regardless if you have a team in it. I am a SC Gamecock and we have been strong in the college sport ranks up until this year. We have stunk it up bad. Still love um though.

Picture from last years Cinco De Mayo tailgate......the best part of the baseball experience. We had a generator last year this time.

Yes. Big fan. I grew up an Astros fan and was stoked when they won the WS. Now living in TAMPA Bay, I’m pulling for the Rays first. I had season tickets for a few years in 07-09 including their playoff run to the WS.

I also hit up the CWS in Omaha back inthe Rosenblatt days. Very cool time. I saw TEXAS win the CWS.

I really liked it when my boy was playing and I was coaching. Those days are long gone, but we stared playing whiffle ball recently and throwing the ball around.

Go Phillies! If you ever find yourself in Lewiston, ID in late May, check out the NAIA World Series. It isn't Omaha, but you will see some damn good college baseball being played!

.....one more thing....Major League double headers are hard to make it though. One can only drink so much beer. 18 innings is too long.

Love baseball but growing up in Pittsburgh it’s been tough. Ownership sucks. I used to say when I had kids it’s all Pittsburgh sports teams. My son is 8 and likes the pirates and Yankees. Makes me cringe but I get it. He asked why they are always bad. Try explaining baseball economics to a kid. I’m just happy he enjoys the game and will sit and watch any game that’s on.

New York Yankees fan here. Not a fan of them trying to buy a WS. I remember crying when Thurman Munson Died. I loved all the Ex A's players who played for the Yankees during that period. I saw Derrick Jetter break the record for most hits by a Yankees in the Old Stadium (house that Ruth Built). Because I live in Texas I go to Houston to watch them play now.

I’m a Detroit Tigers fan. However, I bet against them with a guy at work for fun. Somebody has to be Darth Vader. This year the agreed wager for $20 is the Tigers will win 68.5 games or less. This is a rebuilding year. Since they are playing close to .500 ball right now, I’m thinking I’ll lose. Cheap entertainment for the season. If they have a good year, that’s great to see. If they suck, I get a little jingle. Either way, something good happens.

You’ve just been blessed with good football and hockey teams. As far as the Steelers are concerned, we’re going to be in for some lean years coming up soon. Kids will know what it’s like to go through the Bubby Brister era or the Kordell debacle.

I love baseball, would play all spring and summer growing up. Got out of rooting for an individual team because my dad, some family friends, and I started a strat-o-matic keeper league, so I would root for individuals not teams (plus, I grew up in Maine among a family of Red Sox haters).

When I moved to DC for grad school and stopped cheering for individuals, I picked up the Orioles and then the Nationals as local teams to root for. Still get out a few games a year.

You know it. It’s like Kramer’s strike at the bagel place on Seinfeld.

We moved due to the new Braves stadium. Cobb County taxpayers were stuck with a $450 million dollar tax bill due to a secretive deal between the Braves and the County Commissioner, Tim Lee. It has been called the worst deal in all of professional sports. We paid for the stadium so that the principles of the Braves could use their own money to develop the mixed use Battery Park around said taxpayer funded stadium. There’s a line item on the tax bill for the stadium. Mine was maybe $600-800. I don’t remember exactly. That wasn’t going to raise the $450m needed so they went around and reassessed property values. Mine went up 40% in two years.

They also stuck the dang place right in the middle of one of the worst interstate interchanges in the Southeast. Bad traffic is now continually miserable .

    So yeah, I’m still salty.
