I cannot get my daisy wheel off of my egg. Does anyone have a suggestion. I want to replace with a smokeware cover.

Daisy wheels are ok. You should be able to remove it..

Fire it up and periodically try as the temp increases. That said, can you operate the wheel-otherwise the before mentioned suggestion is a waste of time if that thing is welded shut and on the BGE. My bet is fire for the win!⚓️

it doesnt take much to loosen. while lifting up on the bail, tap lightly on the side of the daisy with an ash tool. mine always pops off within a tap or two
