Steak - MiniMax CI

Recently bought a new Cast Iron (CI) BGE grill for the MiniMax and decided to break it in today. Very happy with this. Been only using the CI grill on the large since I got it, I assume it will be the same here.

The steaks were (are as this was for 2 !) . Been disappointed with Costco steaks for a while (Expensive, a lot of outer fat, no marbling), They renewed my fate here.

Off Topic: Check out the new Netflix 'Street Food' show - not BGE related, maybe a little as it shows cooking of fire. I found it interesting.

@EggNorth Looks like you're a fan of the cast iron. I'm trying to decide between CI and GrillGrates, jury is still out. Thanks for the comment.

I really like cast iron, grills, pots, pans, baking sheets etc. I even have a CI Moose.

You're definitely all in with the CI. As for the moose, I'll try and get mine in September.....

Dave - I was in our Costco on Saturday and I see they're carrying their premium AAA steaks with a gold seal and in blue Styrofoam containers as opposed to white. I bought 3 New York strips for $48. Below is a picture of Costco's premium Ribeye that I bought a coupe of months ago and they were delicious.
