OT: Costco pre-cooked Ribs 👎
Was in Frisco (North Dallas) over the weekend and leaving Costco noticed the precooked ribs. Never finding fault with much of anything in the store picked them up at $19.?? for the slab.
This was not good. Over cooked and greasy, the dry rub was odd as well.
Should know better and have an Egg I took to her house.

I agree with your own assessment of this. You should have known better. 😂

There are only a couple of food items that I've not liked at Costco and this is one of them.

Not...only because you tried it and did not like them. They could have been fantastic.
Again, worth a try. Sorry it did not work out.

I came an inch from buying those last week. Glad I read this post; I'll stick to smoking my own.

I remember when Lloyd’s precooked ribs and buckets of BBQ pork were considered a big deal. Both swimming in over-sweet sauce and mushy. There was a time when mushy & candy-sweet was popular.

But you are close to perfection (non-home cooked) at  VALENTINAS TEX MEX BBQ

Haha - yep, but the Lloyds thing was 25+ years ago.
Had a beef rib at V’s once, other than that, I’m all tacos there or I’ll grab some brisket to go.
I enjoy cooking ribs at home and usually put a couple of half racks up in the freezer to reheat at some point in the future for when I just gotta have them now.

I bought the Costco precooked ribs once... ONCE.
Won't make that mistake again.

On a positive note..the southwest pasta salad from Costco is excellent 🔥
Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
At that price, I would ask for a refund. I doubt they want you to bring in the bones, but Costco is known for their liberal refund policy.

Going there this weekend. Can not wait. Its a regular stop for us when we are in Austin. Real Deal Holyfield is so very good.

That’s just nasty. I’m guessing it’s covered in the same wonderful goo a canned ham is?
