Pre-spatched chicken

I was at the grocery the other day and saw this prepackaged spatched chicken. Never seen it before, so I had to bring it home. Kinda pricey for chicken, but sure was easy to just season and cook. Went with butter under the skin and S&P only. Raised direct at 400. Turned out really good.

I saw that at Whole Foods. I posted a pic of it in a random thread and someone mentioned it was air chilled and a really good quality chicken...and they were not really charging much extra to remove the backbone. Yours looks great. I would definitely give it a try.
Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
Nothing wrong with that bird...
