Great day. Sun was shining. Sat out in the snow. Had a few beers. Hauled some water. Stuffed some breasts. Simple cook but it’s been awhile for something a little different.
I hope all had had a great weekend. I’ll be in shorts by next week for sure!

Looking good my friend. Hauling water... care to elaborate?

I haul water to the house. Cheaper than having it brought in by truck. 4 girls in this house. So ya. We go through a lot of water. Sometimes I can go 4-6 weeks with out hauling.DoubleEgger said:Looking good my friend. Hauling water... care to elaborate?County of Parkland, Alberta, Canada -

Dang. I know Alberta is pretty remote and you’ve got a beautiful place. I just figured that everyone had a well. I’d hate to haul in the amount of water that the utility says we use each month and it’s just the two of us.AlbertaEgger said:

Lots of wells around here yes. We just done have one. The cost to drill one is big and the gpm in my area is pretty low. Our tank is 3800 gallons or so. I just like to fill it once it gets to 25% or so left. Doesn’t take long. Half a day. I’m close to town. I bet wells vs cisterns are 50/50 around here.DoubleEgger said:
