Stumbled across these at Publix tonight and couldn’t resist. Plan on doing tomorrow on the Minimax.

Great find at that price point. Go with the toothpick test for the win. Beef ribs beat their pork cousins every time. Enjoy!
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
After 2 hrs at 250°

Placed in pan with 1/2 can of beer and covered with foil for 2 1/2 hrs

@tamck1just curious as to why you use the screen wire on top of your cooking grate?
-
Not a screen wire. It’s a Frogmat -Teflon mat to prevent meat from sticking to grate. Makes cleanup much easier.GaBGE said:@tamck1just curious as to why you use the screen wire on top of your cooking grate?

How durable is the mats Teflon coating. I've gotten away from using Teflon pans due to the coating not lasting. Even the TFal pans .tamck1 said:

I’ve been using frog mats for 10+ years with great results. In my experience they are very durable and clean easily with hot water or even in the dishwasher. They cannot be used over direct flame, however. I’ve used them in stick burners, pellet cookers, and on my eggs.cajunrph said:

I've never seen those in my area, I'm jealous! Great job on the cook!
