Nothing crazy. Just a quick after work burger prep that turned out really tasty.
Heath riles garlic jalapeño and southern links burger seasoning mixed in with some Wagyu beef. Patties formed, and topped with albukirky red. Tossed on the egg direct at 400 degrees.
Plated with a pretzel bun. Yellow bird habanero on the bottom. 505 salsa topped with habanero cheese then red onion and avocado.

It’s a good flavorful salsa. Not really spicy if that’s what you’re looking for.saluki2007 said:Great looking burger right there. How's the salsa. My wife and I are salsa junkies and always looking for something new.
I do prefer making my own salsas, but I do enjoy the 505 salsa.Brandon - Ohio

That 505 is good stuff for jarred. @northGAcock turned me onto it. The yellowbird habanero is very good as well. FWIWsaluki2007 said:Great looking burger right there. How's the salsa. My wife and I are salsa junkies and always looking for something new.Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga -
Now that is a great burger right there. Anything with habanero cheese and avocado is a guaranteed winner. Congrats.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
Awesome. I make salsa in the summer time with our left over garden goodies, but in the winter time we resort to jarred stuff. Looks like Walmart carries it so I'll have to keep an eye out for it. I don't typically shop there so didn't know.Leopoldstoch said:

Did a quick google search and I found a new organic natural health food store I didn't know existed in my area that carries Yellowbird. I'll have to run out there and grab a bottle. Thanks!bgebrent said:

I like putting that Yellowbird onto slices of Jalapeños. It really makes the verdant pepper flavor "pop".
