Charcoal for thought

Is Rockwood and all other charcoal made from the Midwest HOT? Science says yes. In the 50's & early 60's our government blew off 150 above ground nukes. All down wind states were contaminated at the time. It ended up in women's breast milk, it ended up in livestock & they had to be slaughtered. All states from Florida to Maine were contaminated many times over.
Those little tree's then are big trees now that are being harvested. And then the scrap's are made into your charcoal. Science says to leave this wood alone, like around Chernobyl. People visit there but they don't harvest the wood from there. My point being think & choose wisely. And buy a Geiger counter if you are going to buy any USA lump unless it comes from California. That's why I get my lump from Paraguay. No nukes down there that I know of. This is based in science. Have a great weekend. And thank you for your continued support.

I can't find any study that indicates there are dangerous levels of radio isotopes in US trees. It's easy enough to check trees (or their products - charcoal, lumber, etc) with Geiger counters.Sure, the trees around Chernobyl are radioactive, but it's irresponsible to draw a line between above ground tests in the 50s and 60s in the US and radioactive lump.I just scoured the web and there's nothing about it.I have a Geiger counter at work, I'll grab it and scan some household wood and lump. But I already know what I'll find. Granite, sheetrock and cement will be, by far, the most radioactive items in my house. What is worth worrying about is the potential for radon gas in your basement.Even if lump was mildly radioactive, which it's not, 99.999% of it goes out the top vent or into the ash. Food doesn't get radioactive subjected to low levels of radiation. Idiots who think this are the same that think irradiated foods are radioactive. Sure, ionizing radiation can make some nasty chemicals, but it rarely, rarely causes anything to be radioactive. That's a process that happens in the core of nuclear reactor where the radiation types and amounts are many, many orders of magnitude greater.______________________________________________I love lamp..

In other words, let's see the science.

This is as bad as the dreaded EMF’s that are killing us when we use a microwave! Gloom and Doom! You would be surprised how many customers bought EMF meters on the web for $10, and constantly annoy the utilities about the “smart meter” outside their residence.

I vaguely remember from middle school that Strontium90 is detectable everywhere on the planet due to the above ground testing of the 1950's but it's not in concentrations that are harmful (so they say).“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” ― Philip K. Diçk

Sorry scientist say that everything down wind is nuked. You think you can launch 150 nukes and nothing happens. Dream on its your life.

This is the type of thread that keeps me coming back for more

This doesn’t even come close to the outer fringes of the radar. I have sooooo much other sh.. to worry about. Maybe they will figure out we can destroy the radiation at Chernobyl in a BGE. I remember being told to not eat snow after the meltdown in Russia.
I also know if you cut trees that were around during volcanic ash eruptions you can see that in the rings and the ash will ruin your chain.
To the op this is a interesting argument! Completely ridiculous! But I miss forum shenanigans so well done sir!South of Columbus, Ohio. -
I would just like to say that I don't mind the affected livestock being slaughtered, but that seems like an excessive resolution for the breastfeeding women.ROlin said:It ended up in women's breast milk, it ended up in livestock & they had to be slaughtered.

We better go get in those under ground tunnels the government built and hide now.
Based on science, is that like a movie that is based on a true story?? Use the same location and make the rest of it up??

I think you should worry more about the chemtrails all the airliners leave in the sky. They are fresher than the nuke blasts and more of them. The govt is out to get you anyway. cough, cough, hack, hack, I'm dieing.
