OT - Vacuum Sealer Recommendations

After 8-9 years of faithful service from my Food Saver V3460 it made a popping noise and a steady trail of smoke billowed out of the rear of the device.  It was a surreal moment.  I've sealed countless rolls of FS plastic and bags with it and I was beginning to think it was invincible.  Any recommendations for a replacement vacuum sealer?  I have a good inventory of FS bags and rolls, so I prefer a FS or machine that could use the FS material.

Thanks for your help!

    Here is a recent link.
I went with Vac Master. No regrets.

It must be something in the air. Mine hit the trash two weeks ago. I bought it used for $10-$15 on Craigslist and put it through its paces over the years.

I borrowed my parents FoodSaver which I bought for them a few Christmases ago. My Dad's response when asking to borrow it, "We don't use it very often, how about you just keep it at your house". I think I can take the hint. ;) I believe it's the same model you had. Good to hear you got some good use out of it!

I'm interested to see what you pick up
