my first two egg purchases were large, but how I wish I had shown more love to the smaller sizes earlier.
As an early xmas present I got the CGS woo ring which signifantly improves the indirect capability of the MM.
did is a bird, cast iron shishito peppers and a salad for the fam .... was a hit

Agreed it’s a great addition to any egg family. Fits more than you’d think looking at it from the outsidebubbajack said:Great cook and pictures!. Starting to use my Mini Max more and more! Love the Woo also. -
Took mine on vacation and did a turbo 8# pork butt. I could not believe how good it came out.unoriginalusername said:

@unoriginalusername how did the Woo make it better? Better airflow? It looks great.Washington County, MD

I had the old ring and platesetter which has very small feet. Under 1” air gap.ckreisl1 said:@unoriginalusername how did the Woo make it better? Better airflow? It looks great.
Got a new ring and woo which gives a couple inches clearance and means true indirect without scorching the bottom -
And the woo raises the grid up a bit. I think most indirect cooks are better done at the slightly higher grid. That has been my experience anyway. Probably has something to do with the radiant heat coming off the dome.unoriginalusername said:
