Cooking lamb chops and Ahi Tuna for the first time tonight. Any suggestions on what dome temp should I cook both at and how long? I will cooking both direct heat. Thanks in advance

Chops at 400 direct. If an intact rack i'd run them raised direct. Any high temp is good for a quick sear on the tuna. Do this while your chops are resting. Sounds delicious. Show em off tonight.Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga

@bgebrent...Thanks for the advice. Would you sear the Ahi similar to a Ribeye steak? 2 min on each side or is that too long?

Too long. Depending on thickness, 30-60 secs at a high temp will be enough if you’re that typical rare ahi finish.
