Lobster tails

Hey everyone,
Looking to try my luck with some lobster tails tomorrow on the egg. Found a lot of great recipes on here. My one question is do I thaw the tails before cooking. I always thought lobster had to remain frozen until cooked but it seems that I might be mistaken. Thoughts?

Yes to thaw.

I always thaw mine. When cooking I place the meat on top of the shell, and that would be more difficult to accomplish frozen.

Thaw in the fridge not on the counter. If you need it to thaw faster, cold water in a bowl but make sure the tails aren't directly submerged in the water or holes in the bag.
Fresh water on saltwater critters isn't a good combo.XL aka Senior, Mini Max aka Junior, Weber Q's, Blackstone 22, Lion built in, RecTec Mini 300, Lodge Hibachi, Uuni, wife says I have too many grills,,,,how many shoes do you have?
