Not sure who already does this but...
I use my iWatch or iPhone to set timers to remind me of what I am doing. Something I am running around after I started the Egg and forget to watch the temp. I set 5min timers and it really helps with remembering to make sure the temp doesn’t hit 900 for a L&S...

No matter what I’m doing in the kitchen - cooking pasta, drying a pan on high heat after cooking, baking - I always set a timer. While I don’t forget what I am doing often, there have been a few times where the timer was what reminded me to check on whatever it was that I was doing, potentially saving me from a house fire. This is a good practice.
