Prime Rib options - Dry Aged or American Wagyu?

Want to get a prime rib to cook for Christmas and looking at options. Looking at these two, but open to suggestions:
50 Day Dry Aged USDA Prime Black Angus Standing Rib Roast
SRF American Wagyu Black

I'm not sure how much better either could be versus a properly prepared choice grade roast from your local butcher. I get mine from Costco and they are awesome. Well marbled, fork tender, and very tasty.Michiana, South of the border.

I prefer choice for a prime rib. Dry aged choice would be my pick.

Last one I bought (28 day dry aged Angus) was $200 for a 14# roast. The butcher only does them at Christmas time, and custom ordered. Everyone loved it, so I have another one on order for next week!

"Extensive" aging means nothing. Ask how many days. Less than 28 days is nothing really. It will brown nicely (if they don't trim the thing, and tell them not too), but not much aged flavor or tenderness.kbutler84 said:Think I'm now leaning towards this:

The wagyu will likely be too fatty for most people’s taste.
