Sams club, $6.99 choice, $9.99 prime.

Check the specials on their website. Also, bring cash, as I don't think they take credit cards.WeberWho said:I'm going to have to check this place out.Stillwater, MN -
Thanks. Do you happen to know what they mean when the ads say, "after top" for the price? Is "after top" some type of mail in rebate?StillH2OEgger said:

I can't believe the prices. 750 of Jim Beam for $3.65. That's crazy!"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

Yep, it refers to the mail-in rebate based on the required purchases. The prices before rebate are usually better than I can find and with the after rebate prices it's almost like they're paying you to drink (-:Stillwater, MN

So I go to Costco, am I getting ripped off at $18.00 to $22.00 per LB in the Chciagoland area? Were talking beef here, right? It's awesome, but I'm starting to get mad here

Costco in SoCal sells a prime "extreme peeled" tenderloin that is in that price range and worth every penny. The side muscles and all fat and silverskin are removed, and there is almost zero waste.

Currently, a local store in Green Bay has trimmed whole beef tenderloin for $5.99/lb. Usually they are $8.99. I have bought a "few" this week.XL BGE, Lg BGE, MiniMax BGE, Mini BGE

Hmmm....I did an experiment by taking the untrimmed weight and then weighing it after trimming. I seem to recall that once trimmed, the cost was fairly close to a pre-peeled one. I seem to remember that the only benefit from my labor was the chain that I got maybe half a meal from.st¡ke said:Kcheves said:Costco in SoCal sells a prime "extreme peeled" tenderloin that is in that price range and worth every penny. I think I may try the extreme peeled one this year.Large BGE - 2017

Peeled vs unpeeled is usually pretty close based on usable weight. We bought them unpeeled and used the chain for mixing into our ground for burgersColumbus, Ohio--A Gasser filled with Matchlight and an Ugly Drum.
