Just took old bands off and replaced with new bands, large BGE

I just replaced the old bands on my large big green egg. Dirt simple to do. I didn't have helpers (and I'm 70 with bum knees), so I pulled old springs off with the egg closed. I undid the carriage bolts, bands fell off. I realigned the dome, slipped in the blue spacers, and put on the new bands. After tightening everything down, I put on the new springs. I was looking all around for something else to do (I did NOT ask the wife) because it was so easy to do. Everything was straightforward and easy to do.

Was this the new style with the extra hardware that tries to enforce proper band placement? Why were you replacing the bands? Where'd you get the new ones?
