    My family gave up giving gifts many years ago, amazing how it changes the whole focus/stress level of the holidays!  (obviously not a path if there are little ones involved).  
    I probably won't even be looking for online deals for myself on Friday; I'm at the point in my life where I don't need, or even want, anything.  Don't know if that's wealth, age, depression, wisdom, senility or alcoholism, but it works for me.

    Like @Botch I have just reached a point where I don’t really want anything.  So I don’t really care about Black Friday either. 

    Since I don’t have to go to the office, I’m thinking I’ll do a day after thanksgiving butt, drink some bourbon, smoke a cigar, and just enjoy the quiet.

    Friday begins three days of marathon Christmas decorating, since we don't really have another weekend available, and we are hosting this year.

    Tomorrow we will start will the yearly fight over which tree to get, and then I will b!tch because I also have to drag out the fake tree for the front of the house.  Then my wife will have to sort through all of the bins that she carefully packed in the shed last year because she didn't properly label them and doesn't remember where anything is.  By now, we have both had a few drinks and while I am taking a break, she will start throwing strands of lights at me to see which still work from last year.  Since half of them will be broken, I will have to go shop for more lights.

    Usually by the time it is time to start putting the lights on the tree, I am too drunk to be trusted on a ladder.  That's when we quit and start again on Saturday.

    Happy Saintsgiving everyone!  See you in the Dome tonight!
