Just got the Big Joetisserie to go on my XL egg. Looking to see what people find best for wings on the rotisserie. The flat basket or the tumbler. I love wings on the egg but hate having to constantly flip them to keep the juices basting the ones below. I typically cover mine in baking powder to make them crispy.
If you have experience with the tumbler or flat baskets and cooking wings, please let me know. Thanks.

I have heard of people coating in corn starch, but never baking powder. If you like it, then keep doing it. I would guess that if you are trying to protect a coating then the flat basket would be better than allowing them to tumble around.
Just my 2 cents, I have not tried either way, I am just looking at the products onlineXL BGE

Ive never flipped my wings. Cook indirect, I dont use corn starch, and they come out perfectly crispy.Carrollton, Va

I do the baking powder trick when I'm cooking them in the oven. The come out looking like they were deep fried. I follow this process: https://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2010/02/the-best-buffalo-wings-oven-fried-wings-recipe.html
