Turkey Skin split - 3 hrs to go

Do I need to worry about the split? It's over the breast, and I have it foiled in the egg, I just don't want it to dry out. Or is that inevitable now? Any experience/advice would be appreciated.[p]Thanks,
Dan

Heya TrickyD,[p]Duct Tape? [p]Oh, keep bastin' it and keep it foiled till the end , i think.[p]How big was the split?[p]Regards,[p]Tish

It's about 2 inches on the right breast and there is a new one on the left breast about half an inch. They seem to be getting bigger, so I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

Heya TrickyD,[p]Did you stuff herbs under the skin. I've had that happen when I've done that. Keep basting and keep if foiled and you should be fine :-)[p]
