Turns out, Dizzy Pig will be making the trip down to this EGGfest and we're eggcited to be able to get outta town and do some cooking! Want to book our rooms soon. Most of y'all staying at the Margaritaville Hotel?? Are some of you doing both the VIP event Friday and the Fest on Sunday?? Guess they'll be some goofing off in the sun on Saturday. Look forward to catching up to some of y'all, and meeting many more!

been thinking about driving down for it, working with someone local to maybe get sponsored to cook in it. edit, I sold my wife on the idea by showing her bubba's sweet shop near by, place looks like a sweet tooth heaven.

We went last year and had a lot of fun. We will probably try to go again this year. We like to stay down the beach at Portofino.

Thanks @buzd504
Always fun staying at the hotel with other cooks and we're always up for a little after party. Never been so just feeling it out a little
Hope to see you there

ChrisI'm sure you've seen it on the website, but the venue is the minor league stadium and it works really well. The cooks set up all along the concourse, and then some down on the field down the lines. The stage is in front of home plate. They have built-in concessions (though the lines get long for liquor) and nice retail areas set up. I haven't been to a lot of eggfests, but this one seems to work really well. Also, plenty of parking.I'm a fan of Pensacola, and this is right on the bay. Joe Patti's, one of the best seafood markets I've ever been to, is right down the street.NOLA -
Pensacola has a baller vietnamese restaurant called golden dragon, its my favorite. Too bad I don't live there anymore.

Thanks @buzd504 . It sounds like a great setup. And I'm a seafood lover for sure, so I will check out Joe Patti's. @milesvdustin appreciate the tip!
