Putting Juicy Pulled Pork in Food Saver Bags

Whenever I put freshly pulled pork in Food Saver bags, the vacuum draws out a lot of the moisture. Anyone here have a good solution for getting around that problem? I've tried putting the PP in a ziplock bag and compressing most of the air out before zipping it closed, I've tried a folded paper towel across the top of the bag. Both work somewhat, but there must be a better way.

Do like I do with all the soups I put in FS bags...merely freeze first and seal after frozen.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

What I do is put the PP in the the FS bag, mold it into the shape that i want it in and then put it in the refrigerator over night. You can do the same thing by putting it in the freezer for a couple of hours but both methods have worked for me.XL owner in Wichita, KS

I cut the bag a bit longer so there's more room.

Never thought of that, good idea!RRP said:Do like I do with all the soups I put in FS bags...merely freeze first and seal after frozen.Tampa Bay, Florida -
My sealer had a dry/moist setting so that helps.
But it sometimes I need to hold the sealer and bag up vertically to keep moisture from traveling upward towards the sealer.Philly - Kansas City - Houston - Cincinnati - Dallas - Houston - Memphis - Austin - Chicago - Austin
