First time poster brand new egg owner (large). Does anybody know a store in the Dallas area that would have a platesetter in stock?
Thank you,
William

  • race chef,[p]Jackson's on Lemmon Avenue across from the Frontiers of FLight Museum At Love Field should have what you need. You may have to ask for them. They had them in the back when I bought mine.
  • Tiburon,
Thank you for the info, i will stop by there today.

  • race chef,
"American Backyard" at US75 and about Parker carries them, I may stop by there about noon, and see if they still have some in stock. Feel free to call my cell 214-240-3271 and confirm if they have, or call them directly at:
Parker Central Plaza (Next to Circuit City)
3300 North Central Expressway (Parker and 75)
    Plano, TX 75074

  • race chef,[p]You might try The Grill Doctor at Coit and Beltline[p]190 Spring Creek Village
    Dallas, TX 75248
    (972) 386-5311[p]They have the cheapest Ozark Oak in town as far as I can tell. They might have a plate setter.[p]Ed

  • To all: thank you for your help. I first went to American Backyard, and was sent to Jackson's to pick up the plate setter. It is currently in use with a pork loin and turkey breasts to give it a test run. Dannos, i was already on the road when you replied to my post, again thank you for offering to help.
    Thanks again,
    William
