Table restoration and new deck
Comments
-

Deck phase 1 is mostly done . Railing is expensive and will have to wait until next year . Table restoration went well, it matches deck and looks like barn wood . Couldn’t wait for last few rows and trimming to be done before I needed to egg some Old Bay Chicken, great recipe by @JohnEggGio that I try to make every couple weeks . Stairs will also wait until next year when I put a concrete patio in front of deck , with a fire pit . 1 Large Egg, Blackstone griddle

Nice project, I do recommend an air gap of some sort, I and several others use the BGE Table nest. makes your table a lot safer. I really like the look.

I’m not sure what u mean by air gap. Are u referring to having the egg sitting on legs instead of the concrete patio stone ?Kent8621 said:Nice project, I do recommend an air gap of some sort, I and several others use the BGE Table nest. makes your table a lot safer. Table Nest for a Large EGG – 113214
I have the BGE nest but the CI might be more stable if you move the table around.

Nice project. You'll get all kinds of opinions on an open forum. I like the comment about 'cars'.
I have my XL in a BGE wood table. It sits on a nest which gives it 2-3'' of space between the bottom of the egg and the wood shelf - air gap.
Love the back yard - property. Wish I had some open space!

XL aka Senior, Mini Max aka Junior, Weber Q's, Blackstone 22, Lion built in, RecTec Mini 300, Lodge Hibachi, Uuni, wife says I have too many grills,,,,how many shoes do you have?

Thanks, 1.2 acres with a good view , surrounded by woods and fields . No close neighbors. We plant the yard this month , some green grass will make things look nicer for sure. That’s a damn nice table you have . I will look at those nests.Matt86m said:Nice project. You'll get all kinds of opinions on an open forum. I like the comment about 'cars'.

Where are you located? That view will go up 100% once you add the grass.lentsboy007 said:

I understand the necessity of putting some improvements off until next year. I need to do some work on the pool to clean it up and fix a small leak. But it too will have to wait. I also want to put in a gazebo for my Eggs but can't afford to at the moment.Marshall in Beautiful Fruit Cove, FL.
