First Egg XL, Modular Table and Cover
lvlegg
Posts: 1
This year I finally convinced my wife that if I renovated our screened in porch we could use the savings to buy a BGE. This past week was Louisville's EggFest at Brownsboro Hardware and I took the plunge. Bought an XL BGE, modular table with side table and ordered a cover from the Coverstore (style 171) since BGE does not make one yet.
I searched this forum for others that were looking for covers and could not find any posts so I figured I would share pictures of my new setup and the cover (it fits perfectly) to hopefully help someone else. Glad to have this group to bounce ideas off looking forward to sharing more as I learn.

Beautiful and welcome to the forum! PSA - if you have the ceramic cap under the cover, be very careful when you remove the cover, you don't want to drag and drop it!canuckland

Nice! I went to the store yesterday and looked at these modular tables. The quality is top notch. This may be the route I go eventually.

Great start to your BGE addiction.
I need to drop by my dealer and look at those tables. They sure look nice. But as a woodworker I suppose the natural thing would be to build my own.Marshall in Beautiful Fruit Cove, FL.

I built mine out of solid hickory and have granite side tables the top is trimmed with black walnut. I had my cover made by a place that makes pontoon covers, very heavy duty.
