Yep, pot lifter is how I move my egg around. Gravity and the shape of the egg keeps tension on the straps.

@Botch - what @HeavyG and @Cornholio said. The red ziggie strap goes on each side and as you lift it it grips by friction resting underneath the raised part on the base under the band - and doesn't even touch the band.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time
