Minimax small lump experiment ... tacos, eventually

thought lots of air and less lump might fire up quickly .... but i was wrong. Pulled the plug at 20 min and 300 degrees before adding more charcoal. Was up to 550 in a matter of minutes which for the waiting family was good enough to throw on the flank steak.

Your tacos looks great!!  Just wondering why you wanna starve your cooks when you can close the vents and have lump left for the next cook.

    Nice tacos!
I am cooking on my Mini-Max in less than 4 mins every time.

    Same with Larges
Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

Sold my wife on the second egg based on how much easier it would be for her to heat up mid week without much work. Trying to find a setup that is non egg interested wife approved for quick and easy mid week stuff using just a fire cube

Fires up fast with just an oil soaked tissue.
