    What is this stuff best for?  Long low amf slows or hi heat searing?   
    Things that you want a neutral smoke profile on.

    Its best for anything you want to cook :) Its charcoal... it burns.

    Add wood chunks of your choice for whatever smoke profile you want. Set the vents for whatever temp you want. It'll get the job done.

    ^^^^^^ this.   I’ve never understood people using different lumps for hot n fast or low n slow.  I barely clean out the ash and I’m not about to start switching out lump for different cooks.

    Either.

    No big secret to it......very high carbon content so it will hit lava temps quickly, or it will maintain low & slow.  There really isn't much wood or volatiles to cause any temp swings or generate much ash.
