Eggniter malfunctions

hey guys anyone else having issues with the eggniter? I’ve been an egg head for almost 2 years now. I bought the eggniter when I got my XL BGE and I’ve already had to replace my eggniter once in less than two years and now the replacement is doing the same thing the first one did. The fan setting will blow but the heating setting won’t work. I’m almost ready to throw in the towel with the eggniter.

Lots of different ways to light the lump. Eggniter is only one. And, it sounds like one that breaks easily.

The original Looftlighter works fine. The Eggnighter is another BGE copycat.

Go grab you a torch at Home Depot or such (MAPP or propane). So easy no electricity 20 seconds and you are rolling

I either use the electric cattle proddish thing/BGE igniter that used to be the bees knees or a propane torch (true MAPP production in the US ended in 2008)
