Looks good. Sufficient cheese. But you are right, no real need for the bell pepper. Wonder what some threads of fully ripe Hungarian wax peppers on the top would have done w. the look and taste.

Our (read as my wife’s) lasagna recipe uses small curd cottage cheese, cream cheese, and egg instead of ricotta.caliking said:@nolaegghead The kind folks at HEB’s pasta operation learned me that the egg goes in the ricotta. Couldn’t tell that it made any significant difference.
