heya mikeb6109,[p]Ok, this is easy. One bottle of Newman's Own Original Vinegar and Oil dressing. Or any variety of Newman's Own oil dressings.[p]:D bbqdiva

  • mikeb6109,
This is a popular "american" danish recipe we call "chicken maryland"; widely used here in the cold north:[p]marinade:
    one part lemon juice
    one part white vinegar
one part honey or maple syrup
    six parts vegetable oil
    crushed garlic to taste
    salt
pepper[p]marinate the meat (chicken) for several hours.
for the "real" danish "chicken maryland" make kebabs
with alternately one piece chicken and one piece
banana wrapped in bacon - sounds weird huh!? but thats
what we call chicken maryland up here. Anyways the marinade is great with or without banana![p]enjoy!

thorsten-denmark,[p]That recipe looks great. I've got some boneless chicken thighs that will definately be cooked that way within the week. How big should the chicken pieces be? Will the bacon be crispy by the time the chicken is done?[p]gdenby
  • gdenby,
Thanks :-D -yes very simple recipe, usually I make the chicken pieces about 1" x 1" x ½" or roughly same size as the banana pieces. And yes when the bacon looks crisp and ready then it will all be ready to eat.

    mikeb6109,
A good old bottle of Italian salad dressing with a few dashes of hot peppa sauce works wonders with chicken.[p]Cheers, Glenn

    mikeb6109,
I keep a bottle of Mojo Criollo by Goya in the fridge. It is great on everything!!! Steak, chicken or pork....you name it.
