I just got an email from the SMOBOT guys and they were plugging this other Kickstarter campaign for these stack-able smoking pans called Smoke Staxx. I'm generally against the intentional misspelling product name, but otherwise these look pretty cool. My big question is how the beans aren't falling out of the pan at the bottom. Take a look. If I didn't have an AR already I might be more interested. I can see how they would be great for the Weber Smokey Mountain.

The pans have a solid bottom, nothing will fall through.
Basically a large cake bundt pan.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
Ah, for some reason I thought part of the ventilation was in the bottom when I was first looking at them. Duh. Thanks.XL BGE, CGS AR & spider, 36" SS Blackstone, SMOBOT - Flower Mound, TX

Interesting. Pretty sure I don't need one but also pretty sure I think I want one.

I have 2 of the Proto types in my possession as we speak. Bryan and Kirk, the inventors, live just a few minutes from me. I will be using them this weekend at a local eggfest.XL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2

I think it is a neat idea, but not a $150 for 2 pans neat idea.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I really need these!
Large Egg with adjustable rig, Kick Ash Basket, Minimax and various Weber's.

Too rich for my blood FWIW.
Cleaning one would be more fun than cleaning a rib rack. After one use, it would collect dust.
Foil pans are nice to chuck after one use, no cleaning, and in my price range.

These things look like a waste of time to have and clean. There’s a reason people use foil pans....-FATC1TY

So cleanup of the Mac and cheese I cooked the other day wasn’t to bad. It cleaned up like a cast iron d.o.XL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2
